A luxury marketing agency, run as a house

One house for the name, the look, the films and the money, so that people recognise you before they read you.

We call the brands we work with houses, and we take on few of them on purpose. Whatever the world sees of a house, from its name to its daily posts, we make it say one thing. When that works, people know it is you before they read the name.

One house, four lines

The work of the house runs across four lines, and the services overview sets out each one in full.

Why one house instead of five vendors

Most brands hire a naming studio, a designer, a video team, a media buyer and someone to post. Each does its part, and the brand ends up with five versions of itself. The logo says one thing, the ads another and the founder's account a third.

One house removes the joins. The people who set the voice also shape the films, plan the spend and read the numbers, so every decision is made against the same idea of the brand. When a test works, the next film, caption and budget move with it.

Consistency is what luxury has always run on, and it is hard to keep across five contracts. We set out the trade-offs in one integrated team versus five vendors, and the rules we work by in our principles of luxury marketing.

Luxury marketing from inside the business

Most agencies work at arm's length, through briefs, decks and monthly reports. We work from inside the business. In residence, the team posts every day, tests at volume, reads the numbers every week and puts more behind what works.

Film runs the same way. Concept, script, shoot and edit all happen in the house, so the people reading the numbers also make the next piece. For CLASS, a members club, that meant building the owner's personal account and testing mass variations on trial reels until one format took off, then pushing it.

How we choose the houses we take on

Admission is by application, and we keep the list of houses short on purpose. Working inside a business takes real attention, so we only take on as many houses as we can give it to.

When an application arrives, we look for three things.

  • Something real to build. A product, a person or a room that people want to be part of, even if the marketing has not caught up yet.
  • A problem the four lines can solve. The application asks what is not working in your marketing. The more specific the answer, the sooner we know whether we are the right house.
  • A founder who will let us in. The work depends on access to the business, quick decisions and honest numbers.

If there is a fit, we reply personally. Our admission process explains what follows, from the first conversation to the fitting and the work itself.

Results from the house's records

Houses of the Maison include Azoulay, Onto The Next, FOMO and MxnnDirective.

We also keep a ledger, and every figure in it comes from our own records. Each result below has a full case study in the work of the house.

  • King's Fury, fight campaign. 1B+ views in under 60 days.
  • CLASS, members club. 75M views and 100K new followers.
  • The Blueprint, story sequence. $100K+ in payments in seven days.
  • Valeron, SaaS and paid ads. $0 to $16K a month in under two months.
  • Scaled, daily content. 500K+ views and 7.5K followers in three months.
