Senior Video Editor

This is a full-time, remote senior video editor job in the US. You will cut launch films, campaigns and daily short form for the brands we work inside, so each one looks and sounds like itself everywhere.

About the role

Maison Cealus is a private marketing house based in Poland, and this remote senior video editor job sits in Line II, our brand film work. We take on only a few clients, which we call houses, and our work for them spans identity, film, strategy and residence. You cut what those houses show the world: the launch film that introduces a name, the campaign built around a moment and the short form that goes out every day.

Results count here as much as craft. The King's Fury campaign reached 1B+ views in under 60 days, and content for the owner of CLASS reached 75M views and 100K new followers. If you are comparing senior video editor jobs, this is the difference: you work close to the result and see what every cut did.

What you will do

  • Cut launch films and campaigns as a master film, with the cut-downs for each placement planned before the first assembly.
  • Edit daily short form for houses in residence: reels, shorts and stories in several versions, with different openings, lengths and captions, so the numbers can choose.
  • Build the first three seconds on purpose: open on the strongest frame, put words on screen within the first second and cut every warm-up.
  • Deliver versions for each platform, with the right aspect ratio, length and safe zones for where each one will run.
  • Color every piece to the look set in each house's identity, and hold it from a launch film to an ordinary weekday post.
  • Own sound and subtitles: clean dialogue, music edits, levels that hold up on a phone speaker and captions without errors.
  • Organize footage and projects so any take is easy to find, then hand off masters, cut-downs and project files clean and labeled.
  • Check how each cut performed every week, and let that shape the next round of versions.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of professional editing, and a reel that shows story, pace and finish.
  • Fluency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with project files you would be happy for someone else to open.
  • Proven short form. You have worked as a short form video editor on accounts that post often, and you know why a viewer stays past the third second.
  • Proven long form as well: at least one launch film, brand film or campaign you took from raw footage to master.
  • Finishing to a delivered standard: color that holds one look across different cameras, a clean mix and accurate subtitles.
  • Habits that suit a remote video editor: clear written updates, reliable turnarounds and files anyone can pick up.
  • Reasons for every choice. You can say why a cut works, take a note without losing the film and cut the tenth version as carefully as the first.
  • Discretion. We work inside other people's businesses and see work long before it is public.

Nice to have

  • After Effects for titles, simple motion and cleanup.
  • Work as a luxury brand video editor, where restraint counts for more than effects.
  • Experience cutting founder content, where the person on camera is not an actor.
  • Some time on set, so you can tell a shoot what the edit will need.

Pay and how we work

Here is the senior video editor salary range, so you can judge the fit before you apply. The house closed its seed round in June 2026.

  • Base salary: $80,000–$115,000 USD a year
  • Full-time, remote within the United States
  • The house is based in Europe, so some calls fall early in the US day
  • This is a good-faith range for a remote senior video editor job at this level, and the offer depends on experience

We read every application and reply if there is a fit. It helps to know the work first, so start with our case studies and results, then read how we approach a brand launch film.
